Therapy for Anxious & Burnt Out Women in Minneapolis!

Nourish with MB is a holistic mental health practice for women in midlife who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves–or simply not like themselves anymore.    You look like you’re managing fine from the outside, but inside you’re running on empty.  You’re managing a home, a career, kids, aging parents, changing hormones, your health, everyone else’s needs–and somehow you’re supposed to keep yourself together too.

Maybe you’re more anxious or irritable than you used to be.  Maybe you feel resentful, depleted, stuck or disconnected from the person you used to be.  Maybe you don’t need another person telling you to “practice self-care.”  You need someone who understands the bigger picture.

That’s where therapy can help!

At Nourish With MB, therapy goes beyond managing symptoms.  As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner I take a whole-person approach to mental health.  I integrate evidence-based psychotherapy with practical support around lifestyle, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, relationships, nervous system regulation and the mind-body connection.  Together, we’ll work to understand what’s underneath the way you’re feeling, develop tools that actually fit your real life and help you feel more grounded, capable and like yourself again.

You don’t need to become a different person.  You need support becoming more fully yourself!

“Your body has a beautiful, secret language that you can become fluent in.  To start, stop ignoring YOU.”  – Aviva Romm, MD, Midwife, Herbalist

One of the best ways to know what your needs are is to look at what you complain about.  Complaints are unmet needs in disguise. -Mastin Kipp

 Hi, I’m Mary Beth!

I’m a Licensed Clincial Social Worker (LICSW) & Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP).

I’m passionate about supporting women who are feeling more anxious, irritable or reactive than they want to be; are struggling to find themselves beneath the roles of mother, partner, daughter, professional or caregiver; and who feel disconnected from their body or struggle with food, energy or sleep.  I support women who are naviating perimenopausal/menopausal changes or another major season of life; women who are experiencing chronic stress that seems to affect everything; and women who are looking for therapy that addresses the whole picture, not just what’s happening in their head.  In my practice, I use evidenced-based holistic lifestyle & mental health strategies designed to promote balance in the mind, body & spirit.  From classic therapuetic modalities like Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to co-creating a lifestyle plan; my holistic approach goes beyond just talking and gives women concrete skills and tools to thrive.
